Among the clouds in the sky, we see an airship in the distance, with a young man looking through a telescope at a gold reflection in the glass. A bell is ringing in the back and we hear a woman shout “All hands on deck! "We found it" was spoken in a tone of fear. The Captain comes out of his quarters a man with scars all over his body with a left arm, and leg wood mechanical prosthetic. He calls for the crew to say it's finally time for that beast to pay for what it has taken from me. The first mate interjects by saying that it's not worth the risk and he's crazy to pursue something that big. In a bit of rage, the captain called out “All my means are sane, my motive and goal are insane, and the beast is no more than the culmination of what we have already achieved. I am the captain of this ship, and I believe we will test our grit.
We see the young man from before gathering the harpoons and passing them to the crew. The men begin to climb the rigging of the ship and secure themselves to the ship. They begin to throw spears and fire cannons at the beast, but it seems to have only bounced off its body. To launch the mighty harpoons, the captain calls for his crew to get close. The ship approaches the mighty beast and fires its first massive harpoon. As soon as it hits the beat, it flies off its body. A number of the crew are sent flying into the air overboard by the creature's body ramming into the ship. Despite this, they are protected by safety cable straps attached to their bodies.
The captain orders to fire the second and last massive harpoon. It fires and the beast and as if it is aware it is coming. It avoids it and then rams into the ship a second time. The young man falls off the ship but the safety cable snaps. The captain seeing this jumps to get the boy and barely catches him. The young man is holding on for dear life, the captain struggling to keep a stable grip. He looks at the beast flying away and looks back at the young man then back at the beast. With a sign of almost realizing that he should give up his quest for revenge, the captain calls for a hand to help him with the young man. He calls off the hunt. The captain “We’re returning home”.
